# Installation

> Download and install Ideatura Studio, then sign in to your account.

## 1. Download Studio

Open [ideatura.ai/download](https://ideatura.ai/download) and choose the installer for your operating system.

You need an Ideatura account to sign in. If you received an invitation, open it and accept it first. See [Create an account](https://beta.docs.ideatura.ai/alpha/get-started/create-an-account.md) if you still need access.

## 2. Install Studio

> 1. Close Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino and Blender before installing, so their add-ins can be installed or updated.
>
> 2. Run the downloaded `.msi` installer and click Next.

> 3. Open Read the Terms of Service. If you agree, select I have read and accept the Terms of Service and click Next.

> 4. Select Install for all users and click Next.

> 5. Click Install. Allow the Windows administrator prompt to continue.
>
> 6. Finish the installation and launch Ideatura Studio.

> 1. Open the downloaded `.pkg` installer. Close Ideatura Studio and AutoCAD, then click Continue.

> 2. Open Read the Terms of Service. If you agree, select I have read and accept the Terms of Service and click Continue.

> 3. Follow the remaining installation prompts and authorize the installation when macOS asks.
>
> 4. Launch Ideatura Studio when installation finishes.

## 3. Sign in

1. Click Sign in in Studio. Your browser opens for authentication; Studio shows “Waiting for the browser…”.

2. Complete sign-in in the browser using the account you use in the [web portal](https://app.ideatura.ai/). If you are already signed in, you will see the approval screen instead.

3. On Sign in to Ideatura Studio, check that the account shown is the one you want to use, then click Approve.

   If it shows a different account, switch to the account that has your Ideatura access before approving.

4. Wait for the browser to show Signed in — you can close this window. You can now close the sign-in tab.

5. Studio is ready for your first prompt. In the empty conversation, type `What can you help me with?` and send it. Read the reply to see what you can do with Ideatura.
