Write what you want Ideatura to do in the message box at the bottom of a chat. Before sending, choose the application and references it needs.

Choose an AI model

Click the model name beside the message box and select a model from the list. Keep the current model for your first task; you can change it for a later request in the same chat. Where available, the arrow beside the model opens its thinking-level choices. A higher level gives the model more time to reason and can increase usage. It can help with complex geometry or a task that needs several decisions. Full Studio window with GPT-6.1 Sol selected and the Low, Medium and High thinking-level menu open.

Select a connected application

Open Connected Apps and select the open document you want AI to work on. Check the filename, especially when you have several projects open. Full Studio window with Connected Apps open and the Garden Office Revit document selected. For a task using only attached documents, choose No apps. If your application is missing, open its document first. If it still does not appear, follow the add-in checks.

Attach a reference

Click Attach file and choose the PDF, image or other document you want to use. Explain its role in your message:
Review the attached cabinet drawing. Check the dimensions and flag any missing information before I issue it.
Full Studio window with Cabinet_Review_Rev_B.pdf attached and an unsent request to review its dimensions and missing information. You can also attach a markup from a viewer to point at a particular part of a drawing. Use Skills for this message to add reusable instructions; see Standards and skills.

Send and follow up

Click Send. Read the reply and inspect any drawing or model changes. You can continue in the same chat to answer a question or refine the result. Click the square Stop button to interrupt a running request. This stops further work; it does not undo changes already made in the connected application. Full Studio window with an active demo request and the native Stop button. For examples of useful requests and corrections, read How to talk to AI.
